SCNOVA COVID-19 Policies and Procedures
In order to provide a safe environment for all our volunteers, clients, and participants – even the most vulnerable – while continuing to offer services to our clients during the current pandemic, SCNOVA has adopted a set of rules and procedures balancing safety and service effectiveness.
In general, we require all staff, clients and volunteers to be fully vaccinated, as well as all participants at in-person gatherings. Exceptions for bona-fide religious or medical reasons are allowed with advance approval, but restrictions on activities will be applied (e.g. mandatory masking) and no other person involved in a service or attending a gathering will be exposed to an unvaccinated individual without their knowledge. There are additional procedures in place to assure the safety of transportation such as sanitizing surfaces and physical distancing.
As of November 2021, our vaccination status among staff and volunteers is 100%. Immunization status will continue to be tracked for all individuals as booster requirements change.
